Jamie Thom has gained world-wide recognition for his wildlife photographs and he has been named Wildlife Photographer of the Year. His passion for capturing these majestic animals in the wild is clear to see in these stunning sepia images which are part of a collection of 29 landscape and portrait photographs. His clever use of sharp and soft focus with the addition of a distressed edging gives these images a decorative quality as well as being studies of nature at its best. His photographs are available in two sizes and come with frame options which include a silver leaf mirror frame and classic wood veneer. They are of a Limited Edition of 295 and are signed.
Award-winning photographer and safari guide Jamie Thom started his professional life as a mechanical engineer before turning to his passions for wildlife and photography. He took a post as a game ranger in the MalaMala Game reserve in South Africa where, armed with his camera, he was able to 'shoot' wildlife on a daily basis. His work was recognized by a string of awards, which culminated in him being named Wildlife Photographer of the Year. After leaving the game reserve he worked for both the National Geographic and Discovery TV channels producing wildlife documentaries. He is now a full-time professional photographer and runs exclusive safaris to his favorite destinations. His images have been widely published in magazines and books worldwide.
