Midnight Grey Marble Characteristics Midnight Grey marble is celebrated for its dramatic movement and rare tonal complexity. Its dark grey ground is sometimes warmed with bronzed undertones, while swirled veining ranges from deep charcoal to soft silver. Naturally occurring iron inclusions create narrow orange‑to‑red striations that may appear as delicate lines or sweeping strokes. Veins may extend across the entire surface or blend softly, reminiscent of grey ocean waves. In its natural state, this marble contains small “holes” that are expertly filled with grey resins or matching stone before polishing.
