Artistic Roots & Natural Evolution
My artistic journey began very early, truly instilled by my family’s passion for creating. My mother’s family was The Mosaic Tile Company, and my father was an art director and CEO with an incredible career in advertising. Together, they fostered in me a deep love for creating something of value and integrity.
I’ve essentially been an artist since eighth grade, constantly exploring various mediums. While my primary focus has always been fine arts—particularly painting and printmaking—a fascinating new path emerged. People started approaching me, requesting that I translate my artwork onto textiles. It felt like a trail of breadcrumbs, leading me to expand my creative expression in a new and exciting direction.
This natural evolution inspired the birth of Sara Anderson. Designed to bring original art off the gallery wall and into the home, our collection translates fine art into functional goods. From luxurious robes and scarves to curated tabletop items, we create authentic, everyday pieces built on artistic integrity.
