We decided to have fun with this design and brought together some of our favorite motifs from the past in a new way. The Roman strap work frame is open to lighten the mass of the mirror and to integrate the background color into the design.
The winged griffin sentinels were Empire engravings, executed in heavy tole, and brushed and glazed over gold in a pen-work style.
