Jonathan Charles – Verdure Round Cocktail Table
A true statement of contemporary artistry, the Verdure Round Cocktail Table brings together rare materials and meticulous craftsmanship in a piece designed to anchor a sophisticated living space. The cylindrical base is crafted from Ziricote, a highly prized wood known for its dramatic striations—swirls of deep espresso, charcoal, and soft grey that read like natural abstract art. Its rich grain gives the table a grounded, sculptural presence.
Above, the hand‑laid jade green straw marquetry top radiates outward in a striking starburst pattern. Each straw is individually placed, creating a luminous surface with subtle tonal shifts—emerald, moss, and verdant green hues that catch the light beautifully. A slim metallic rim frames the top, adding a refined note that enhances the table’s modern silhouette.
The result is a cocktail table that feels both organic and architectural—an heirloom‑quality centerpiece that elevates any room with color, texture, and quiet luxury.
