Founded in 2004, as a home-based business, and named for the high mountains that stretch across central Asia into the Tibetan Plateau, that embody natural beauty, wonder and spiritual purity, Himalayan Handmade Candles began by partnering with small-scale global manufacturers and combining our unique fragrance combinations and wax to create candles in wooden containers from India. Originally sold at local craft fairs and antique shows, Himalayan Handmade Candles established our brand as a high-quality niche provider of handmade luxury candles.
Himalayan Handmade Candles takes its inspiration from the beautiful and the unexpected. We offer layered, complex fragrances that bring beauty and functionality to wherever they are placed. The vessel and fragrance together will tell a story of aroma, aesthetic beauty, functionality and reuse.
Our candles are handmade in small batches, packaged in our Georgia studio, with a meticulous attention to the details, from the silk ribbons and jute ties to the packing and boxing. Each candle is still hand-poured into unique and distinctive containers. We use artisan techniques to craft a product made with a natural soy wax blend from the United States.
